ABOUT BARE WINE TOURS

REVEALING THE OKANAGAN ONE SIP AT A TIME

WHO IS BARE?

Cass is a mother, adventurer, nurse, and the creator of BARE. Together with her husband they have been fortunate to travel much of the world in search of great wine and food. Over 15 years ago, they chose to make a home here in Kelowna, and the Okanagan Valley. Living and embracing the Okanagan lifestyle. ‘It’s a wine and food paradise, all right here in our backyard’.

BARE AMBITION

Cass encompasses everything that BARE aims to achieve: adventure, love, community, family. ‘The beautiful Okanagan and it’s world class wine is our vehicle to bring old and new friends together. Okanagan artisans craft, and inspire everyday so that we can explore, taste, and fall in love. We are determined to not letting them down, and revealing the very best of the Okanagan, to as many fun loving, wine fuelled adventurers as we can.’

OUR PROMISE TO YOU

BARE is committed to building days to remember, with exceptional service and genuine care. ‘We appreciate the importance of special occasions with family. We understand the stresses of a busy life. We take care of everything on your wine tour, so you can focus on enjoying the moment, relaxing and unwinding.’

WHAT WE ARE ALL ABOUT

Bare Wine Tours developed from the idea that wine tasting shouldn't be stuffy, and formal. There is no wrong or right way to taste wine. It should be a fun, and playful experience that everyone can enjoy.

AWARDS

LICENSING AND INSURANCE

We are fully licensed by the BC Passenger Transport Authority, ensuring our National Safety Certificate is clear and all employees have appropriate licenses for the class of vehicle they drive. They also dictate that we are suitably insured in the event of any unforeseen circumstances.

PARTNERSHIPS

We believe in the community of the Okanagan, and we are very lucky to have forged strong relationships with various wineries, cideries, breweries, restaurants, accommodation providers, and local artisans who are all central to us providing the very best experience for our guests.

VEHICLES

Our fleet of vehicles are all provincially inspected every 6 months. They are all less than 5 years old, safe, comfortable, and clean. We can accomodate parties of various sizes whether it’s a 9, 11 or 14 passenger van, or even a 21 or 24 passenger bus.

A LITTLE MORE ABOUT US

'Our family has deep roots in the world of travel, food, and wine. It has always been what has brought us together, and it never leaves us short of discussion. When we discovered the Okanagan, we felt like the luckiest people in the world. An area with perfect seasonal weather, rich local produce, world class wine, and best of all, only in its infant stage. We spent a lot of time discovering all the wonders on offer here. It didn't take long for us to know that we want to share our passion, and enjoyment of the area, and it's magnificently talented artisans.’

COMMUNITY & SOCIAL AWARENESS

We started BARE Wine Tours and other businesses so that we can have a positive effect on the local community, and give back through local charities, helping causes close to our hearts. We are proud supporters of the Okanagan Boys & Girls Club and World Wildlife Fund.
