Depends how you define "best." June and July is peak season — warmest weather, most energy, biggest crowds. Personally, we'd nudge you toward August or September: harvest season is magical in the Okanagan, the weather is still excellent, and you'll actually be able to get a patio seat. May is a hidden gem too.
Half-day tours visit 4 wineries; full-day tours cover 5. Trust us — this is the sweet spot. More than that and the wines start blending together... and so do the guests.
For a first visit, West Kelowna is hard to beat — iconic estates like Quails' Gate and Mission Hill alongside rising stars like Crown & Thieves, Black Swift, and Frind Estate. Available as a half or full day.
Have more time? East Kelowna and Lake Country each offer a completely different experience worth exploring. Many of our guests end up booking all three.
Tour length depends on which experience you choose:
• Full-day tours run approximately 10:30am–4:30pm and include 5 tasting venues plus a lunch reservation.
• Half-day tours are ~4 hours with 4 tasting venues, with a 10am or 2:30pm start time
• Private tours are fully flexible — we'll build the itinerary around your schedule.
Most Okanagan wineries are open 10am–6:30pm during peak season, so there's plenty of day to work with.
Short answer: yes. Tasting fees at 5 wineries can easily hit $125 on their own — and that's just the start. We handle all the appointments, planning, and driving while you enjoy door-to-door pickup, fresh snacks, chocolate, cheese, spring water, and a guide who actually knows their Pinot from their Pinot Gris. Fully licensed, commercially insured, and focused entirely on your comfort and safety.
We specialize in the Okanagan's most iconic wine trails: the Westside Wine Trail (West Kelowna), the Scenic Sip (Lake Country), East Kelowna's Fab Five, Summerland's Bottleneck Drive, and the world-renowned Naramata Bench. Each region offers distinct terroir and character — which is why many guests end up doing more than one.
