Naramata Bench Winery Guide
Naramata Wine Tours | Bare Wine Tours
Stretching along the eastern shores of Okanagan Lake just one hour south of Kelowna, the Naramata Bench is one of Canada's most celebrated wine trails — a narrow 20-kilometre stretch of sun-drenched benchland where over 40 wineries, cideries, a distillery, and a beloved craft brewery combine into an extraordinary day of discovery. Pioneer families who first planted here in the 1990s set the standard for Okanagan fine wine, and today the Bench rewards visitors with some of the finest Pinot Gris, Cabernet Franc, Pinot Noir, and sparkling wines in BC — poured in intimate tasting rooms with views that stretch across Okanagan Lake to the rolling hills beyond. This is almost exclusively a private tour destination — and for good reason. With most wineries requiring advance reservations, a knowledgeable guide who knows the trail, the wineries, and the winemakers personally is worth everything.
