The Experience

Peak Cellars rewards the curious visitor with one of the most layered tasting programs on the Scenic Sip trail. The Bar Wine Tasting is an excellent, accessible starting point — four guided wines from the estate portfolio for $15, with a $5 credit applied to any bottle purchase. For something more immersive, the Premium Seated Tasting slows the pace and deepens the conversation, guided by Peak's most experienced wine educators at a vineyard-facing table with the option to add a locally inspired BC Cheese and Charcuterie Board. The Goldie Block Vineyard Tour takes guests out into the estate and the organic garden — a genuinely grounding experience that connects the bottle to the land in a very immediate way. The Vintage Journey Tasting, tracing a single varietal across multiple years, is a rare and fascinating experience for collectors and curious wine lovers who want to understand how climate and winemaking decisions shape a bottle across time. The Garden Bistro, rated the No. 1 Restaurant in Lake Country on TripAdvisor, completes the visit with a seasonally inspired menu built almost entirely from the estate's own organic garden and local producers — pizzas, burgers, tapas, and daily features served on 80 patio seats overlooking the vineyard.

The Wine

Winemaker Stephanie Stanley is quietly building one of the most impressive track records in the Okanagan. Her 2022 Riesling took Best of Class, Gold Medal, and 96 Points at the 2025 LA International Wine Competition — a result that signals Peak Cellars is operating at a level that commands serious attention from wine collectors across Canada and beyond. The portfolio spans the full range of Lake Country's cool-climate strengths — an elegant Glacial Till Pinot Gris, aromatic Gewürztraminer, Grüner Veltliner, Chardonnay, and a bright, food-friendly Rosé anchoring the whites, alongside expressive Pinot Noir and Gamay Noir Blend reds that reflect the unique volcanic and glacial till soils of the O'Rourke Family Estate.
